Under $10,000 Auto Sales, LLC lives up to it's name, thanks to owner Steve Nacht. All his vehicles are under $10,000, so that they can be affordable to everyone. Regardless of how much a customer puts down on a car, Nacht offers very low interest financing.

Nacht guarantees his financing with everyone. His company does not require a credit history. All that someone needs is a steady job, a steady place to live, and a down payment. “Nobody can do what we do. In 40 years we have never turned down a person for financing” says Nacht.

“Someone can come in, put down a low down payment and pay only $75.00 a week. It makes it easier on people. I might make less money, but it's worth it. The payments are so low that it is affordable to everyone.”

Nacht has a crew of several mechanics. Before he delivers a vehicle, they go through it with a fine tooth comb. They check the motor, transmission, muffler, brakes, lights, wipers, tires, exhaust, interior, fan, power steering, everything!

Nacht keeps about 50 cars on the lot at any given time, offering his customers a wide variety of choices. The vehicles range in age from early model antiques to present day models. He carries a wide range of American and foreign cars, trucks and vans.

“The turnover is constant. We are always buying cars and reconditioning them. Most of the cars I buy are from customers or new car dealers. I'm not buying a lot of cars from auctions, but from original owners. I sell a lot of cars to kids getting out of high school and going to college. Parents come here to buy cars because it's affordable and they can take advantage of the very low interest financing.”

Nacht loves to buy, sell and trade. He also has his private collection of vehicles which include two1955 Chevy's, a 1968 VW convertible and a 1969 Chevy Nova race car. He also has a Harley trike.

Nacht is by no means new to the car business. He has over 40 years in the industry behind him. He started out when he was just 17 years old in a used car lot in Brooklyn, NY. It was there that he met his wife of 43 years, Judy, when he sold her a 1964 Rambler. He became the leading salesman in the New York tri-state area while working for a Cadillac dealership on Staten Island.

He then spent more than a decade in south Florida, overseeing hundreds of employees at seven Braman dealerships. He also owned Greatest Deals on Wheels in Fort Lauderdale, Newton, NJ and Las Vegas, NV., and Steve Nacht Cadillac in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.

In 2005, Nacht opened Under $10,000 Auto Sales in West Palm Beach, FL, and has now opened a dealership of the same name in Murphy, NC. “I've been in the car business my whole life. It's in my blood. I've been this way since I was a kid. I love cars and people and I love to sell cars. I live, eat and sleep cars,” said Nacht.

“What I've done in the past has really helped me be successful”. Nacht credits his success to his family. Any day you visit his car dealership, you will see Steve and Judy working there together. They are an honest-to-goodness team. Their four children all grew up in the car business, and helped out on Saturdays and summers while growing up. Now as adults, their daughter Mindy is a teacher, Lori is an attorney, Lisa is a director at the YMCA, and son , Josh, is a car dealer, as well. The next generation, consisting of 12 grandchildren, will all get their chance to work at the car lot too!
